If you’re contemplating on having an intimate wedding away from the hustle and bustle of the city, then the Transfiguration Chapel of Caleruega is the one for you. It is a popular wedding destination in Nasugbu, Batangas that is popularly referred to as Caleruega. Contrary to popular beliefs, it’s not really in Tagaytay. With its majestic structure on a hilltop, combined with a beautiful architecture, your big event will surely become a special and remembered one. The travel time (usually 1.5-2 hours from Manila) is worth it because the Chapel has many things to offer. The great landscape is a given along with fantastic views,and cool breeze due to the environment and elevated location.
The use of the Caleruega Chapel costs PhP 15,000, inclusive of the sound system, organ and sacristan. The chapel can provide a priest to solemnize the marriage. But couples are also allowed to invite a priest of their choice. They also have reception areas such as the Plaza de Aza & Tuktok (Roofdeck) for PhP 40,000 and the Veritas Hall for PhP 30,000. The cost is for the venue only. The seating capacity is up to 200 people. For more intimate weddings, the Gazekubo costs PhP 25,000 for a seating capacity of 60 persons.

So go on and contemplate. You can check it out first because it’s also a very popular tourist destination. You only have to pay a very minimal fee to enter. suuper ganda tlaga ng church sa caleruega. actually i been there yesterday April 17, 2011. at masasabi ko the place is real nice kung ikakasal ulit kami ng husband ko id rather chose caleruega church.
sa lahat ng nag inquire i must advice mag side trip kayu sa caleruega cgurado ma enjoy nyo yung kabuuang lugar. bukod sa church marami kayu makikita magaganda bagay sa vicinity ng caleruega. (entrance is 30.00) and surely sulit ang side trip.. godbless and enjoy!
